Today, the Bedford Police finally apprehended an individual who had been removing my signs and tossing them in the dumpster at the transfer station.
None of my signs were down, and none were dirty, and the election hasn’t happened yet, but after being in the dumpster at the transfer station and covered with garbage, these signs are now unusable.
It is illegal to tamper with anyone’s signs. Signs are private property and are expensive.
If you believe a sign was posted on your property by accident, you must call the candidate to let them know. It is theft to remove them and you are not allowed to touch them.
