About Bill
My name is William (Bill) Carter. I have lived in Bedford with my wife, Jane, since 2017. We have lived in New Hampshire for most of our married life. I have been married to Jane going on 41 years. We have two boys. Jon lives in Goffstown and drives a truck for a local manufacturer. Will is currently serving in the Air Force and stationed in Dover, Delaware.
My daily job is as a National Sales Manager for a small family owned bakery manufacturer. I have been in the bakery industry for over 40 years and really enjoy the industry and servicing my customers throughout the area.
For the town of Bedford, I serve on the Conservation Commission. Working with town officials and fellow committee members to protect the key parts of the town is very satisfying. I am also a member of the Bedford Men’s Club. This charitable organization works on a daily basis to help out groups within the Town of Bedford.
As for personal interests, I like working on classic cars and trucks. From December through March I am a high school basketball official. A majority of my free time is spent working with the organizations I associate with and participating in town activities. Most likely you will find me at Town Council, ZBA, and Planning Board meetings. These meetings allow me to interact with the public and better understand what is going on in the town.
My wife Jane and I moved to Bedford because we really enjoy the small town feel and open spaces. Bedford enjoys this small town feel but still offers the modern comforts that are desired today. It is a safe community with a stable tax base.
Please see my contact information above if you have any questions.
